Dosh and Software Group - Winners of the IBS Intelligence Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2022

Dosh is delighted to have closed out 2022 winning two Global Fintech awards from IBS Intelligence, to sit alongside our Canstar Excellence in Innovation Award from earlier in the year. These global awards are hotly contested with this edition receiving 151 nominations across 47 countries, and we are honoured to be recognised. Dosh, the first mobile wallet in New Zealand, and Software Group, an end-to-end digitalization partner to financial service providers globally, are among the winners of the IBS Intelligence Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2022. The partnering companies won two prizes: Most Adaptable Deployment and Most Impactful Project in the category Most Innovative Digital Wallets Deployment.

Launched in October 2021 and based on Software Group’s Mobile Wallet solution, Dosh became a pioneer in creating an instant payments ecosystem in New Zealand, including both customers and businesses in two separate apps: Dosh for consumers and Dosh for Business, available for iOS and Android. With Dosh, individuals can make real-time P2P transfers via mobile wallet and spend anywhere instantly 24/7, while merchants accept contactless payments via QR code and manage transactions from their dedicated business portal.

In September 2022 Dosh introduced its Dosh Visa Debit Card which enables customers to make payments anywhere worldwide where Visa is accepted, in addition to splitting bills and earning cashback rewards, paid directly to their Dosh account.
